FAQ
Are your prices per person or per trip?
Our rates cover up to 6 guests, bottled water, ice, bait, tackle, fishing license and fuel.
Will we be sharing a trip with other people?
No, we are a private charter. You and your family will be the only guests on the trip.
Do you have an age requirement?
Nope! However, you know your child best. We provide USCG approved life vests from 30lbs to adult.
How do we pay for our charter?
We require a 20% deposit for all charters at the time of booking via our booking page.
What do I need to bring with me for the charter?
We recommend you bring the following personal items: Sunscreen, weather appropriate clothing, a hat, towel, polarized sunglasses, and food and drinks. Please keep all food and drinks loosely packed, no coolers. We will transfer it into a large cooler on the boat.
Does your boat have a bathroom?
We utilize a marine bucket head for a restroom. (camping style restroom)
Is your boat handicap accessible?
Yes, but please contact us before booking to ensure we can accommodate.
What if we need to cancel?
Only the Captain can cancel the charter and will only do so if sea and weather conditions are deemed unsafe. If you must cancel or reschedule your charter we require a 14 day advance notice, otherwise you will forfeit the 50% deposit for the trip you booked.
Is fish cleaning available?
Yes. We clean, fillet and bag your catch for an additional charge. See add on when booking.
Do you troll or bottom fish?
We do both! However, if you prefer one over the other we can accommodate that as well.
What if I get Sea Sick?
If you get seasick or do not know if you get seasick, we recommend taking motion sickness pills (Meclizine/Bonine) the night before your charter and one hour before arriving at the dock.
Do we need a fishing license?
No, we provide your NC fishing license and it's included in the price of your trip.
Do I have to tip?
Our Mate works for Tips. 15-20% of charter price is industry standard and appreciated for excellent service.
What if I don't see a trip that is right for me?
Let us know! We will customize any trip to fit your needs.
